 Tamara received her Juris Doctor in 1986 from O.W. Coburn School of Law at Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She is a member of the Kansas Bar Association; American Association for Justice, formerly known as the American Trial Lawyers Association; Kansas Trial Lawyers Association, where she is currently on the Board of Governors. She was Parliamentarian in the year 2000 for the KTLA. She is a member of the Wichita Bar Association, and the Wichita Women's Attorney's Association, as well as the American Bar Association. She received her undergraduate degree at Wichita State University. She has served as a Pro-tem Judge for the City of Haysville.
